An aesthetically dazzling film, perfect in every detail, with a great attention to the balance of the colors. This is also “Her” by Spike Jonze.
You can watch the trailer HERE.
After the vision of the movie, the story leaves the same taste as the images, an old fashion look but extremely up-to-date. In fact, it takes place in an age between the present and the future. The very near future, as you can already see it actually, in China for example (the movie was shot in Shangai). Moreover, the artificial intelligence displayed is advanced (as Samantha, the voice that captivates the protagonist) but it will definitely start showing up on us pretty soon.
The color palette is the protagonist of the film with its red, pink and orange… and the derivation of “salmon”. Warm colors, bright and somehow feminine.
Let’s talk about the style of the co-star, Amy Adams. Nonexistent makeup, messy hair, a combinations of clothes that remind me of the silhouettes of Yohji Yamamoto and Gucci (from the last show, winter 2015, which seems just inspired by Amy Adam’s character).
The leitmotiv of her outfit is the shirt, rigorously buttoned up to the last button.
A very casual look for a city woman and a little androgynous, in fact.
